Our ancestors created various patterns inspired from natural phenomenon or objects from daily life, and applied them to clothing or objects. Those patterns reflect ethnic traits and distinct daily culture. Bonbon interprets and reiterates natural phenomenon around us that could be easily ignored, and designs by symbolizing. Rather than splendor, Bonbon reminds of the beauty in everyday life's simplicity such as bright sunshine, jiggling wind, shattering rain and snow, and glittering stars.
Sunshine Pattern: Embodied glorious sunshine and applied the pattern onto the daily life objects of modern life style. Bonbon wishes Korea's indigenous beauty naturally merges into modern life.
Cloud Pattern: Embraced fleecy clouds, spotted clouds, gently flowing clouds, and many other various clouds. When clouds meet cold air, it rains, and rain is especially important in agrarian society. Thus, you can find cloud patterns a lot on Dancheong the traditional multicolored painting on wooden wall, column, ceiling, etc, representing our ancestors' wish.
Star Cluster Pattern: Geometrically embodied glittering star clusters. Represented traditional Koreans' simple and graceful sensibility by harmonizing blue, jade-green, off-white, and red colors onto the white pottery.
Snowflake Pattern: Represented snowflake of snow fall in cold winter. Bonbon pursues modernized-tradition in everyday life through daily-use items.

Sunshine, Cloud Pattern Espresso Cup & Saucer: You could enjoy a shot of espresso, or two, just for a little while, but it is the best way to feel the most proper coffee flavor. As soon as espresso is extracted, it starts to lose its original taste and becomes bitter coffee. To keep the best flavor, the espresso cup is to be small with thick skin and concave bottom surface. The cup also needs to be rounded shape, otherwise coffee will be splashed during extraction. Bonbon's espresso cup combines all these conditions to give you the best experience of espresso.
Sunshine, Cloud Pattern Dessert Plate: Pure-white pottery is created after a few times of touching and baking. Bonbon designed over that purity. Bonbon's plate harmonizes with not only Korean traditional desserts, but also western style ones.
Sunshine, Cloud, Star Clusters, Snowflake Pattern Mugs: Bonbon's mug designs are inspired from natural phenomenon that we could easily ignore. You can choose different patterns depending on your daily mood or styling concept. Bonbon's ceramic products are double coated so it is safe from insecure substance due to coating getting peeled off.
<Note>
1.There could be little bumps or bubbles, very light glaze marks, slight asymmetry shape or color of the pattern, etc due to characteristics of pottery making, through several times of handwork.
2.Please do not scrub the products too hard, to avoid pattern or coating get peeled off.
3.It is allowed to use microwave, but please do not use torch or oven as too much heat could harm the products.

한국 본연의 감성을 현대의 삶에 담다. 본본.
우리 선조들은 자연 현상이나 생활 주변의 사물을 형상화하여 무늬를 만들고, 그것을 생활 속에서 옷가지나 사물에 새겨놓았습니다. 그 무늬는 민족이 살아온 환경에 따라 특성이 나타나며 고유의 생활 문화를 반영합니다. 본본은 우리가 일상에서 지나치기 쉬운 자연 현상에서 영감을 얻고 그것들을 본본만의 해석을 통해 기호화하여 디자인합니다. 햇살이 비추는 빛, 춤추는 바람, 흩어져 내리는 비와 눈, 총총히 박혀있는 별 등 특별하고 화려하진 않지만 일상의 소소한 아름다움을 되새깁니다.
햇살 무늬: 햇살이 비추는 빛을 형상화하여 디자인하였습니다. 현대의 라이프스타일 맞게 일상에서 쓰이는 것들에 그 무늬를 새겨놓았습니다. 본본은 한국 고유의 아름다움이 현대의 삶에 자연스레 녹아들기를 바랍니다.
구름 무늬: 뭉게뭉게 피어오르는 구름의 모습, 점점이 떠있는 모양의 구름, 물 흐르듯 고요히 흘러가는 구름.구름의 다양한 얼굴을 담았습니다. 구름이 찬 기운을 만나면 비가 내립니다. 특히 농경사회에서는 비가 매우 중요하여 고 건축의 단청 등에 구름무늬가 많이 나타납니다. 조상들의 염원을 담아내었습니다.
별무리 무늬: 총총히 박혀있는 별이 비치는 모습을 기하학적으로 형상화하여 디자인하였습니다. 백색의 도자기에 청색 옥색 미색 적색을 조화롭게 담아 한국의 소박하고 단아한 감성을 표현하였습니다.
눈꽃 송이 무늬: 추운 겨울 펄펄 내리는 눈꽃 송이를 형상화하여 디자인하였습니다. 일상에서 누구나 쉽게 접할 수 있는 아이템을 통해 일상에서 만나는 전통의 현대화를 이어갑니다.

햇살, 구름 에스프레소 잔 세트: 에스프레소는 즐기는 시간은 짧지만 제대로 맛을 즐길 수 있는 커피입니다. 에스프레소는 추출과 동시에 식어가면서 본래의 맛을 잃어가고 쓰기만 한 커피로 빠르게 변해갑니다. 최상의 맛을 유지하기 위해서는 잔은 작으면서 두꺼워야 하고 밑이 오목해야 합니다. 그리고 둥근 형태를 가지고 있어야 추출 시 커피가 밖으로 튀지 않습니다. 본본의 에스프레소 잔은 이러한 조건을 갖췄습니다.
햇살, 구름 디저트 접시: 사람의 손으로 수차례 빚고 굽는 과정을 통해 순백의 도자기가 탄생합니다. 그 순결함 위에 본본의 디자인을 입혔습니다. 본본의 접시는 양식과 한식 다과 상에 다양하게 사용될 수 있어 실용적입니다.
햇살, 구름, 별무리, 눈꽃송이 머그컵: 일상에서 지나치기 쉬운 자연현상을 모티브로 디자인 한 머그컵입니다. 패턴에 따라 다양한 스타일링이 가능하여 현대의 일상 문화에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있습니다. 본본의 세라믹 제품은 한번 더 코팅 작업을 통해 벗겨짐에 강하고 혹시 모를 유해 물질로부터 안전합니다.
