Design Memories of Travel and the Beauty of Hangul. TAZDESIGN
When I am looking at the major cities in the world it reminds me of the time when I was there, I thought that the time in Seoul also can give me the same feeling. Instead of a simple clock, I used the city name SEOUL itself as an objet and a medium that can convey the memories and feelings of Seoul. In order to create a product that expresses the beauty of Hangul itself, it is selected from representative consonants.

Big City Time - Seoul: This is designed based on the typography of SEOUL, It is a wall clock also available as a table clock. It is made of light EVA material and it can be attached easily to the wall with only tape.
Korean Consonant Memo Magnet: a designed acrylic memo magnet kept the shape of Korean consonant. These are vibrant in color to attract attention. We chose transparent acrylic material to give a luxurious impression of Hangul.

여행의 추억과 한글의 아름다움을 디자인하다. TAZDESIGN
세계 주요 도시의 시간을 볼 때면 그곳에 갔던 추억을 떠올리게 되듯 서울의 시간도 그런 느낌을 줄 수 있으리라 생각했습니다. 단순한 시계가 아니라 서울의 기억과 느낌을 오롯이 전해줄 수 있는 오브제이자 매개체로서 SEOUL 이라는 도시 이름 그 자체를 디자인에 활용하였습니다. 한글 그 자체의 아름다움을 그대로 표현한 제품을 만들고자 대표적인 자음을 선택하여 디자인하였습니다.

빅시티타임-서울 : SEOUL 타이포그래픽을 모티브로 디자인한 스탠드 겸용 벽시계 입니다. 가벼운 EVA 소재로 제작하여 테이프만으로도 벽에 부착이 가능합니다.
한글자음메모자석 : 한글 자음을 그대로 디자인한 아크릴 메모자석 입니다. 깔끔한 원색을 입혀 눈에 잘 띄도록 하였고, 투명한 아크릴 소재를 선택하여 고급스러운 느낌을 한글에 그대로 심어주고자 하였습니다.
