Object created by modern reinterpretation of the traditional material "mother-of-pearl". FICT.
We suggested a different perspective on the material through added modern aesthetic and production in a new way. Nacreplus is a brand offering products borne of reinterpretations of jagae (mother-of-pearl). Attempts were made to go beyond the traditional and conventional representation of this material and elevate jagae works to new heights created with contemporary aesthetics and innovative production methods. Irregular patterns created by mother-of-pearl and its combination with modern materials were thoroughly explored, and a variety of products were developed based on such experimentation, from trays to coasters and brooches, to add sparkle to everyday living.

Nacre soban : We reinterpreted So-ban which is transmitted from traditional time, to modern object. So-ban is used when carried with food and eaten from old oriental culture. Also we tried to produce nacre ,that is craft material, from the traditional way.
Nacre coaster : A variety of products were developed based on such experimentation, from trays to coasters and brooches, to add sparkle to everyday living.

전통 소재인 자개를 현대적으로 재해석하여 만든 오브젝트 .FICT.
네이커플러스는 전통적으로 사용되어져 왔던 자개를 현대적인 조형미와 제작방식을 가미하여 새로운 시각으로 볼 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 시작된 프로젝트입니다. <네이커플러스>는 우리나라 전통 소재인 ‘자개’를 현대적으로 재해석하여 만든 오브젝트 브랜드입니다. 주로 볼 수 있는 전통적인 자개 표현 방식만을 따르지 않고, 현대적 감각과 제작 방식을 가미하여 친숙하면서도 새로운 자개 상품을 만들었습니다. 자개 특유의 불규칙한 패턴과 다양한 신소재를 조합하는 탐구를 통해 개발한 리빙용 트레이, 코스터, 브로치 등의 상품을 제안합니다. 일상에 산뜻한 변화를 주는 특별한 오브제가 될 것입니다
